STANDARD WARRANTY – ICE MACHINES
(Applies to North America – Canada, United States and Mexico)
(Excludes Marine Applications)
KD Industries warrants to the original purchaser of each new Kold-Draft Ice Machine that all parts shall be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from date of installation. Under this warranty KD Industries, agrees to provide at no charge, any parts found to be defective, subject to the conditions below.
In addition to the parts warranty, KD Industries agrees to provide any labor necessary to correct any factory defects for one (1) year from date of installation, subject to the conditions below.
WARRANTY CONDITIONS
- The equipment has been installed by a local KD Industries authorized installation agent.
- The equipment has been operated in compliance with conditions and maintenance instructions provided by KD Industries.
- All service and repairs must be performed by a local KD Industries authorized service agent.
- Malfunctions or damage due to alterations, improper installation, improper operation, lack of cleaning or maintenance, neglect, vandalism, fire, acts of God, or any situation beyond KD Industries control are expressly excluded from this warranty.
- KD Industries reserves the right to require any parts covered under this warranty be returned to KD Industries prepaid and verified as defective upon examination.
- Any damages resulting from shipment of the unit are expressly excluded. KD Industries advises customers to carefully examine all shipments prior to acceptance and report all potential damage claims to the appropriate shipping carriers.
THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY MADE IN LIEU OF OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THE WARRANTY WITH RESPECT TO DEFECTS IN MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP. KD Industries will not be liable for any consequential damages, expenses, connecting or disconnecting charges, or any losses or damages resulting from a defect of the machine.
WARRANTY COVERAGE IS NOT TRANSFERRABLE. KD Industries warrants its equipment directly and through authorized distributors and dealers to the original purchaser.

Applies to all Kold-Draft Icemaker, Ice Dispenser, Ice Crusher and Bin equipment manufactured by or expressly for KDIndustries. Kold-Draft is a registered trademark of KDIndustries.
KDIndustries warrants to the original purchaser of each new Kold-Draft Icemaker, Ice Dispenser, Ice Crusher and Bin that all parts shall be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 5 years* from date of installation. Under this warranty KDIndustries, agrees to provide at no charge, any parts found to be defective, subject to the conditions below. In addition to the parts warranty, KDIndustries agrees to provide any labor necessary to correct any factory defects for 5 years* from date of installation, subject to the conditions below.
*NOTE: KDI’s 5-year warranty began May 1, 2009. Equipment purchased prior to May 1, 2009 carry a 3-year warranty.

Under this warranty KDIndustries, agrees to provide replacement parts at no charge for any parts found to be defective, subject to the conditions below.

- The equipment has been installed by a local certified refrigeration installation agent.
- The equipment has been operated in compliance with conditions and maintenance instructions provided by KDIndustries.
- All service and repairs must be performed by a local certified refrigeration service agent.
- Malfunctions or damage due to alterations, improper installation, improper operation, neglect, vandalism, fire, acts of God, or any situation beyond KDIndustries control are expressly excluded from this warranty.

MARINE WARRANTY
(Applies to equipment designed and manufactured for marine applications)
Applies to all Kold-Draft Icemaker, Ice Dispenser, Ice Crusher and Bin equipment manufactured by or expressly for KDIndustries expressly for marine applications. Kold-Draft is a registered trademark of KDIndustries.
KDIndustries warrants to the purchaser of each new Kold-Draft Icemaker, Ice Dispenser, Ice Crusher and Bin expressly designed and manufactured for marine applications that all parts shall be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one year from date of manufacture. In addition, KDIndustries warrants the components of the sealed refrigeration system (compressor, condenser, evaporator, expansion and defrost valves) for a period of three years from the date of manufacture. Under this warranty KDIndustries, agrees to provide replacement parts at no charge for any parts found to be defective, subject to the conditions below.
WARRANTY CONDITIONS
- The equipment has been installed by a certified marine installation agent.
- The equipment has been operated in compliance with conditions and maintenance instructions provided by KDIndustries for its marine equipment.
- All service and repairs must be performed by a certified marine service agent.
- Malfunctions or damage due to alterations, improper installation, improper operation, neglect, vandalism, fire, acts of God, or any situation beyond KDIndustries control are expressly excluded from this warranty.
- Kold Draft will extend a EXW factory parts-only warranty for a period of 12 months from the date of manufacture. EXW is defined as requiring the seller to deliver goods at his or her own place of business. All other transportation costs and risks are assumed by the buyer.
- KDIndustries reserves the right to require any parts covered under this warranty be returned to KDIndustries prepaid and verified as defective upon examination.
- Any damages resulting from shipment of the unit are expressly excluded. KDIndustries advises customers to carefully examine all shipments prior to acceptance and report all potential damage claims to the appropriate shipping carriers.

WARRANTY COVERAGE IS NOT TRANSFERRABLE. KDIndustries warrants its equipment directly and through authorized marine distributors and dealers to the original purchaser.
